Combining the functionality of a movie processor and media server in one module of the projector, the Barco Alchemy DP2K-8S projector is a full-featured, DCI-compatible solution with projector and media server features built-in memory. Reducing the set of necessary equipment simplifies and increases the reliability of the hardware. For added reliability, an intelligent projector detects potential operational errors and warns the operator, for example, about the absence of scheduled resources or KDM. Ideal for TMS environments, it can be used in standalone single-screen installations. With the built-in user interface of the Barco Web Commander control system, impressions can be created and scheduled remotely.
Built on the world-renowned Barco DP2K projectors, the DP2K-8S guarantees consistent image clarity with its proven hand-held color-matching mechanism. While the standard xenon lamp of the projector provides bright colors, its mechanized lenses ensure constant excellent image quality.
Equipped with an integrated technology that significantly reduces operating costs and maintenance costs, the DP2K-8S delivers the highest image quality and exceptional reliability at a low total cost of ownership. This projector is an excellent solution for film distributors who want to switch to a digital projection format with minimal problems and risks.
The projector DP2K-8S also comes bundled with a media server from third-party manufacturers. It can also be ordered without the Barco Alchemy module.
