In this model, a 1.2-inch DLP Cinema® chip from Texas Instruments is used. This projector is designed for high-end cinemas, providing exceptional quality of 2D and 3D images. Combining the functionality of a movie processor and media server in one module of the projector, the Barco Alchemy DP2K-19B is a full-featured, DCI compatible solution with projector and media server functions and built-in memory. Reducing the set of necessary equipment simplifies and increases the reliability of the system. This intelligent projector even reveals potential operational errors and warns the operator of a problem. Ideal for TMS environments, it can be used for single-screen stand-alone installations. With the built-in user interface of the Barco Web Commander control system, impressions can be created and scheduled remotely.

The projector identifies potential operational errors and warns the operator, for example, about the absence of scheduled resources or KDM. It also has a fully modular architecture to simplify maintenance and reduce downtime.
The fully modular design of the DP2K-19B makes it easy to use. Using this design significantly reduced downtime and the need for spare parts, and also accelerated the training of personnel, which resulted in a significant decrease in the cost of ownership.
The projector DP2K-19B also comes bundled with a media server from third-party manufacturers. It can also be ordered without the Barco Alchemy module.
