BIKI is the first bionic wireless underwater drone, or simply ryborobot, created by the team Robosea.
This is the most powerful, eco-friendly and portable wireless underwater drone that takes fantastic pictures under water. The underwater world is a limitless mystery for a man, but with this “fish” you will definitely discover a bit of an underwater wonderland.
BIKI is the only underwater robot camera with automatic balancing, an obstacle prevention function and the ability to return to the base independently. This drone is small but powerful. Supporting 4K-camera, it will open you the best views of the underwater world.
You can set it up so that it floats with you, in your rhythm, or so that it floats where you cannot climb. With its wide-angle lens, you will not miss a single interesting moment around. Darkness is also not a problem, as the drone is equipped with fluorescent lamps. As for the memory, then BIKI is set to 32 GB, which is enough for two and a half hours of video, or for 5000 photos.
Even during fast movement, or in the dark, the drone is able to stabilize the camera for good video smoothness and sharpness of pictures using an HD motion camera and a stabilizer that is mounted on an eccentric pan and tilt head.
The product is represented by a startup BIKI RoboSea. The model is capable of a speed of about 2 kilometers per hour in a submerged position. The maximum depth of immersion is 60 meters. The drone is equipped with a modern image stabilization system, therefore, despite the movement from side to side using a flexible fish tail, the video is smooth.
To obtain the highest possible quality, the drone received two frontal lights of 114 lumens each. The control is performed via the remote control, it is also possible to control using the wireless Wi-Fi module of the smartphone. The camera can record 4K video and 16 MP photo, it is equipped with a wide-angle lens with a capture of 150 degrees.
The battery allows the product to work for one and a half to two hours. That is, taking into account the speed and flow of the drone on a single charge, the battery can theoretically make a path up to 4 kilometers long.
For orientation in the underwater space, the model is equipped with a sonar-echo sounder and an IR sensor. Thus, it is possible to program the device to perform the task on its own without the need for real-time control.
Another plus is the presence of a built-in GPS positioning module, which allows you to navigate in real time and show the exact coordinates on a remote smartphone. Calculation of the route produces a special algorithm ROBOSEA based on inertial measurements.
The way of moving the product is bionic, imitating the movements of the tail and fins of the fish. According to the creators, this option will not disturb the harmony of the underwater world. By the way, one of the options for using the model is remote supervision of children bathing in a pool or an open pond.
