MS506

The BenQ MS506 is the upgraded model of the MS504. It is the best value choice for your small-medium sized boardroom or classroom, or for the mobile presenter. What makes the MS506 stand out is the high 3200 ANSI lumens brightness for such a low price, meaning you will not have to sit in the dark during your meetings. It is standard SVGA resolution (800x600) which although it will not deliver the finer details, it is perfect for producing a bright image on the wall at a size which a TV simply cannot deliver. It is suitable for PowerPoint, text, data and simple images but not videos. Go to at least XGA resolution for short videos as this has more pixels. It does not feature a HDMI connection; however you do have VGA and composite which will allow you to connect to most PCs and other devices. The MS506 also incorporates the Eco friendliness which we have come to expect from BenQ, dynamically adjusting the content brightness to extend the lamp life by 50% to 10,000 hours. There is also an Eco Blank Mode when you need your audience’s attention back to you. The MS506 has an audio pass through feature which allows you to use it as an audio system when it is in standby mode. The MS506 is perfect as an education projector because BenQ have added in a teaching template with four line pattern designs to choose from to easily write on whiteboards and blackboards: letter formation, musical staff, worksheet and co-ordinate chart. Overall, this is a basic projector but with great Eco features and it's light weight making it very portable, it's a great option.
