The Barco ICMP module combines the functionality of an integrated film processor (ICP) and a media server in one common board and constitutes the main component of Barco Alchemy digital cinema projectors. Reducing the set of necessary equipment simplifies and increases the reliability of the hardware projectionist. This intelligent projector even detects potential operational errors and warns the operator of problems. It contains internal memory and turns any Barco Series 2 projector into a full-featured DCI-compatible projector and media server.

With inputs for rich alternative content and the most powerful DCI decoding features in the industry, the Barco ICMP module even outpaces today's requirements and drastically expands your Barco Series 2 digital cinema projector. The projector, equipped with the Barco ICMP module, is ideal for TMS) and works autonomously in single-screen installations. The Barco ICMP module is compatible with DCI in accordance with the Test Plan (Compliance Test Plan, CTP) version 1.2.

Improving operational efficiency
Thanks to the Barco Web Commander's built-in user interface, the projector can be remotely controlled, including creating and scheduling displays. Configuration and configuration can simply be performed by service technicians through Barco Communicator software.

Future compliance
Combined with one 4K digital cinema projector, Barco Alchemy technology provides a projection of 2D 4K images at 60 frames per second and 4K 3D images and supports all standard HFR DCI movies and 3D movies at 2K resolution.
