Combining the functionality of a movie processor and a media server in one module of the projector, the Barco Alchemy DP2K-12C projector is a full-featured, DCI-compatible solution with projector and media server functions and built-in memory. Reducing the set of necessary equipment simplifies and increases the reliability of the system. This intelligent projector detects potential operational errors and warns the operator, for example, about the absence of scheduled resources or KDM. Ideal for TMS environments, it can be used for single-screen stand-alone installations. Thanks to the built-in user interface of the Barco Web Commander control system, impressions can be created and planned remotely.

The Barco DP2K-12C projector is connected to the Doremi ShowVault repository and the IMB media server. This package, fully certified by DCI, is a safe solution for all cinemas who want to switch to a digital format with minimal problems and risks. Another huge advantage is the fact that this integrated system supports higher frame rates - up to 120 frames / second in 2D mode and 60 frames / second in 3D mode, which is ideal for reproducing novelties in HFR format.
